240V (2 pin flat plug). Comes with euro adapter.
– English / Chinese instruction.
Packaging dented. but the content is ideal. The adapter was inserted into the box with a flat-to-euro plug. Also in the box was an instruction about what to do with the filter and the recommended frequency of cleaning – once a week wash the filter and filter elements, and once a month replace the filter "fine cleaning" with activated carbon.
View from above. The cover is removed. Two filters.
Top view in disassembled form. In place of the foam filter only.
The mysterious extra detail turned out to be a pressure filter retainer to the glass.
Bottom view – an extra detail has found its place.
Activated carbon in three sections of the filter "fine cleaning".
In the collection. Water intake is not less moved.
It is installed on glass – inside the aquarium there is a water intake and water discharge trays: cleaned and uncleaned. in case of excessive level increase with dirty filters.
Further according to the instructions: pour water into the filter, turn it on. Until air comes out of the water intake, there is a lot of noise. A minute later – a quiet rumbling. Vibration is transmitted to the glass – put a piece of hose, the noise decreased and became quiet and deaf. The sound is close to the background of the AC.
If you run the filter and lower the level, the filter will raise the water almost from the level of the filter in the water intake. In the start mode, it can lift water from the level of the filter bottom and this varies from the degree of contamination of the filter in the water intake.
As the waterfall rumbles – the greater the height of the fall, the louder. But at the same time it creates a powerful stream of eroding soil under the filter. The height of a fall of about 2 cm is optimal for me – and it murmurs louder than the background of the engine and does not erode the soil.
The filter should really be cleaned once a week – the filter on the water intake is the most clogged and the waterfall runs out 🙂 in half – in an aquarium there are 20 liters of water and 4 fish. A month later, one of the sections of the "fine cleaning" filter was opened – there really is activated carbon. How much was enough for him is not clear, but I did not complicate it and wash it once a week, and after this filter I put a couple of tablets of activated carbon from the pharmacy in the "output compartment".
The overall impression is a stretch for a small, small aquarium.
- low productivity, collects dregs for a long time.
- the external filter on the water intake is quickly contaminated. I assumed that the dirt should be collected inside the filter, but the main load on the water intake is real.
- The function of the foam filter is incomprehensible – the water flow goes around it from above
